LOW ISLES 

Low Isles are a historic part of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. The cay's were the site of the first major scientific study of a coral reef in the world, and their landmark lighthouse has greeted visitors since 1878. Today, numbers are limited to protect the island's ecology. The lagoon supports diverse marine life including frequently sighted turtles.

LIZARD ISLAND

Beautiful Lizard Island is situated 270 kilometres north east of Cairns. The island is 26 kilometres from the mainland and is 1013 hectares, featuring 23 stunning, and white coral sand beaches. The island is surrounded by reefs, which are teeming with marine life, including hundreds of species of tropical fish and crustaceans, huge green turtles, manta rays, Sting Rays and at times several Dugong, which occasionally come into Watsons Bay.

The Blue Lagoon is situated on the southern side of the island and boasts a magnificent beach, which was voted worlds best remote beach by Details Magazine in New York.

DUNK ISLAND RESORT

Dunk Island is Australia's most beautiful tropical rainforest island. This island of peace and plenty offers an amazing variety of activities, facilities and experiences. With an enormous variety of activities to choose from, it's hard deciding what to do next. You could start the day with a rainforest walk and take in the spectacular views from the summit of Mt Kootaloo. FITZROY ISLAND RESORT

Fitzroy Island is one of 600 "Continental" or High Islands on the Great Barrier Reef and since Fitzroy Island used to be part of the mainland, the rocks are the same as on the mainland (granite). The reef surrounding Fitzroy Island is a "Fringing Reef". Fitzroy Island is located on the inner Barrier of the Central Region of the Great Barrier Reef. It is part of the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area.

Fitzroy Island Resort is a 144 bed resort catering for travelers and holidaymakers. A large part of Fitzroy Island is National Park offering a variety of nature based activities from rainforest walks to snorkeling.
